ShopSocially tags can be easily integrated on any e-commerce store using BrightTag tag-management platform. BrightTag provides client-side integration whereby the ShopSocially pixel is optimized and data is delivered through the browser. Retailer should talk to their BrightTag account manager to get detailed instructions for integration specific to their e-commerce store.


Below are the generic steps to integrate ShopSocially tags using BrightTag:


Step 1: Locate ShopSocially tags on BrightTag

On the tag selection screen of BrightTag, search for ShopSocially. You should see two ShopSocially tags listed in the search results, as below:


  

Clicking on the ShopSocially will show following tag definition page for ShopSocially:



Step 2: Integrating Basic Integration Tag

An e-commerce store needs to register with ShopSocially and generate the unique partner ID, which will be required by BrightTag for successful integration.

Each customer of ShopSocially has a 32 characters partner ID – also known as account ID (for example: 06b49344380ebe9e62cb7999735478e1). If you do not have a unique partner ID, please contact sales@shopsocially.com.

E-commerce store can input this partner ID in BrightTag interface as shown below:


 

Sample field elements for the above form are:

  • Name: ShopSocially Integration Tag
  • Comments: Optional
  • Partner ID: 32 character unique partner ID issued by ShopSocially

    Step 2: Integrating Advanced Integration Tag

    Advanced integration is required to enable post-purchase social commerce apps of ShopSocially. These apps access the order information like products purchased, product image, price and other details which are required to implement social sharing of purchases. For this purpose, e-commerce store needs to provide required details as shown below:
