ShopSocially tags can be easily integrated on any e-commerce store using Ensighten tag-management system. This page provides details on the how to implement ShopSocially tags integration with Ensighten tag management system.


Retailers should contact their Ensighten account managers to get specific instructions for their e-commerce website. Below are the generic steps to integrate ShopSocially tags using Ensighten:


Step 1: Locate the ShopSocially app in the Apps area:

Log into your Ensighten Manage Account section and browse to Apps section. The Apps area lists the apps that are available for your deployments, and the Details area provides you with information describing any app you select on the page.



Search for ShopSocially to locate the page specific for ShopSocially app, as seen below:

 



Step 2: Configure the App

To begin configuring this app to prepare it for deployment, click on the app and go to the 'Configure the App' tab. In the Configure dialog, begin by selecting a tag type. You can choose either a basic or advanced tag.

In this case choose a ShopSocially Basic Tag. Specify your ShopSocially Partner ID you received when you created your ShopSocially account, and click 'Next'.

Each customer of ShopSocially has a 32 characters partner ID – also known as account ID (for example: 06b49344380ebe9e62cb7999735478e1). If you do not have a unique partner ID, please contact sales@shopsocially.com.



Alternatively, you could have selected a ShopSocially Advanced Tag. In this case, you must also specify shopping cart information and a cart property mask. The basic shopping cart information includes variables for the Order ID, Revenue, Order confirmation page, and Shopping cart object:



In the Cart Property Mask section, there are a few required and optional object properties for you to specify. For more information, see the W3C eCommerce standard for carts. The cartObject array must contain item objects, each having the following required and optional properties:



 

Fill up the details in above interface and click 'Next'.


Step 3: Choose Conditions

In the next step, choose the conditions for which you would like the tag to fire. By default, it’s set to the Global condition, which will effectively fire your tag on every single page. You can also choose to pick any pre-existing conditions or create a new one by clicking 'New Condition'. To fire the tag synchronously, you must use the Global condition.

Alternatively, you can also configure the app visibility settings through ShopSocially's admin panel. ShopSocially provides advanced campaign management features like targeting based on session history, social profile of user, A/B Testing, etc.




Once you have set the condition(s), click 'Next'.


Step 4: Name the Deployment

In this step, you name your deployment. You can also add information about the deployment, select any dependencies, and choose the execution time (the default is Immediate). To fire the tag synchronously, you must set the execution time to Immediate.


  

Once you have completed this step, click 'Next'.


Step 5: Review and Save

In final step, review the generated tag code and conditions, and click 'Save':
