ShopSocially now allows you to customize the "From" and “Reply To” field in the e-mail to the address you specify in your settings. For example, if your domain is SHOPPING.COM, you might use EMAIL@SHOPPING.COM as your from email address and the replies to the email can be received on CUSTOMERCARE@SHOPPING.COM


Below are the steps required for the customization.

  • Choose email address
  • Generate DNS records
  • Add the record to your DNS entries 

Step 1: Choose email address


Your first step is to choose your From email address. Common examples are EMAIL, MAIL, CONTACT, NEWS, NEWSLETTER, but you can make it anything you like.

The “Reply To” email address is your Support email address. The replies to your email will be received on this address.


Step 2: Generate DNS records


Log in to your ShopSocially admin consol and Navigate to “Email Settings” under “Settings” tab.



Enter the support email address.

Check “Enable Email From Merchant Domain”.

Enter the From email address.

Copy the generated DNS records.




Step 3: Add the record to your DNS entries


Once you have generated the DNS records add them to your DNS entries. Below are links to some hosting and domain name registrars that you might be using.

Click on “Verify Now” in the ShopSocially admin console to verify the entries.



Upon successful verification Save the changes.
