ShopSocially now allows you to export email subscribers to MailChimp. Below are the collateral and steps required for the integration.


Collateral required

  • MailChimp API Key
  • MailChimp List ID

Configuring ShopSocially webhooks settings


Please noteYou can pass more than email ID into your MailChimp and Constant Contact. Selected fields from your CRM are mapped against selected fields in ShopSocially. For example you wish to map:
1. First Name field in your CRM as First Name Field in ShopSocially.
2. Second Name field in your CRM as Second Name Field in ShopSocially.

Once you have mapped the fields the respective fields data will be passed from ShopSocially to respective fields in your CRM. Please refer to Figure: Fields Mapping.

Steps Required for Integration

  • Generate API key in MailChimp
  • Create a mailing list and obtain list ID

Step 1: Generate API key in MailChimp


Login to your MailChimp admin panel.

Navigate to Account Settings –> Extras –> API keys.



Create a new API key or you can use any one of the existing API keys.




Step 2: Create a mailing list and obtain list ID


You can create a new list or use your existing list to store the email address obtained using ShopSocially apps.



Navigate to [ListName] –> Settings –> List name & defaults.



Copy the List ID.


 

Step 3. Contacting ShopSocially Customer Success Manager (CSM)


Contact ShopSocially Customer Success Manager (CSM) to configure ShopSocially Webhook settings.
