This document explains the campaign level report for Customer Q & A. For overall reports refer to All Campaigns Reports.


Accessing Customer Q & A Reports


Please follow the steps given below:


1. Login to the Merchant Center.

2. In Campaigns click on required Customer Q & A campaign.

3. In Customer Q & A campaign, from the drop on the right side, select Reports. Refer to Figure: Access Reports.

If you are running multiple Customer Q & A campaigns, and want to see combined report for all Customer Q & A campaigns together, click Back to Customer Q & A Campaigns. Refer to Figure: Reports Page.

4. Select a date range for the report to display and click Apply. Refer to Figure: Reports Page.

Note: There is Quick Links option for various reports. However the list of reports in the drop down are for reports for all campaigns. Use these option if you want to access reports for all campaigns. Refer to Figure: Quick Links.

Report Format

Explanation on how to read the report is given below:


The top part of the report shows high level statistics:

  1. Impressions: App impressions is the sum of pop-up views + sidebar/ in-page button clicks. When a person views a pop-up, it is one impression. If the person closes the App and later clicks on the sidebar to view it again, it will be the second impression.
  2. Interactions: It is the sum of impressions on which the visitors has interacted. For example posted a question/ comment or an answer, selected Yes, or No against the comment "2 out of 2 found this helpful. Do you find this helpful?".
  3. New Questions: This is the sum total of new questions posted. 
  4. New Answers: This is the sum total of new answers posted.  
  5. Sales: This is the sum total sales. Refer to Figure: New Report Status Bar.

The bottom part of the report is divided into 4 parts:
  • Conversion Funnel 
  • Distribution of Key Metrics 
  • Trends 
  • Detailed Report. These are explained in below sections.


Conversion Funnel

This section shows a funnel view of your campaign, from Impressions to Sales. Given below are the various stages and the flow of the Conversion Funnel:

  • Impressions: App impressions is the sum of pop-up views + sidebar/ in-page button clicks. When a person views a pop-up, it is one impression. If the person closes the App and later clicks on the sidebar to view it again, it will be the second impression. 
  • Interactions: It is the sum of impressions on which the visitors has interacted. For example posted a question/ comment or an answer, selected Yes, or No against the comment "2 out of 2 found this helpful. Do you find this helpful?". 
  • Non-interactions: It is the sum of impressions on which the visitors has not interacted any further. 
  • Sales: This is the sum total sales. Customer Q & A App has a direct and positive impact on sales. We cannot definitely say if a sale is happened through Customer Q & A App, but definitely there a high probability that Customer Q & A has played an important role (if implemented) in that sale. Customer Q & A App aids the user in decision making and this is the main objective of the App. It also helps the user to better explore products through this App and analyze experiences of others and learn ore about products on your website.

Distribution of Key Metrics

The Distribution Metrics is a Pie Chart report. Refer to Figure: Distribution Metrics.

Detailed Report

Click View Report to view detailed report. It is a tabular report. You can export the report to a CSV file. Refer to Figure: Detailed Report.
