The integration instructions are for Miva Merchant. ShopSocially tag can be easily integrated with a Miva Merchant. With this, you can activate ShopSocially Apps on your Miva Merchant store and start running campaigns in matter of minutes.

Setup instructions for installing ShopSocially cartridge on Miva Merchant store


It is recommended that:

1. You take complete backup of your Miva Merchant store.

2. You install the plugin on your Test Server first. You should test the installation on your Test Server, and then install the plugin on your Production Server.


Steps to integrate ShopSocially into Miva Merchant store are given in sections below. Please follow the steps in the same order, section wise.

1. Installing ShopSocially plugin


To Install Miva Merchant plugin, please follow steps given below:


1. Login to Miva Merchant Admin.

2. Click Menu.

3. Click Modules. Refer to Figure: Menu.

4. In Modules screen, click + sign to add module. Refer to Figure: Modules 1.

5. Upload ShopSociallyMiva.mvc file. Refer to Figure: Upload File.

6. On completion of installation, go to modules. Search for ShopSocially Miva Plugin, and click

 icon. Refer to Figure: Modules 2. ShopSocially Miva Plugin details will be shown. Refer to Figure: Plugin Details.

7. Click Menu, then click Utilities 

.


8. In Utility Settings, click  icon, and then from drop down click Add/Remove Modules. Refer to Figure: Add/Remove Modules.

9. In Available Modules, go to Shop Socially Miva Plugin and click Install. Refer to Figure: Install ShopSocially Plugin.

On completion of installation, you will see screen as shown in Figure: ShopSocially Settings.

In ShopSocially Settings under Utility Settings, provide the following information:
  • ShopSocially Partner ID
  • ShopSocially API Key
  • Enable ShopSocially
  • Enable Advanced Integration
  • Enable Social Login
  • Enable Customer Q & A
  • Enable Loyalty
  • Loyalty Authentication URL: Copy and paste the link in ShopSocially Loyalty Dashboard. 
  • Loyalty User Dashboard URL: Copy and paste the link in ShopSocially Loyalty Dashboard. 
  • Loyalty User Endpoint URL: Copy and paste the link in ShopSocially Loyalty Dashboard.

After you add Partner ID, API Key, and enable features, click Update.
To paste those URLs in ShopSocially Merchant Center Console, follow steps given below:
1. In ShopSocially Merchant Center console, click Loyalty tab, and then click Dashboard Config.
2. In Authentication Options, in Authentication Type, select Token Based Authentication from drop down.
Please note: To use the ShopSocially plugin, it is mandatory to select Token Based Authentication.
3. In Loyalty Authentication URL, paste the Loyalty Authentication URL. Refer to Figure: Loyalty Authentication URL.

4. In Loyalty Dashboard, paste the Loyalty User Dashboard URL. Refer to Figure: Loyalty User Dashboard URL.

5. In Authentication Options, in User Endpoint, paste the Loyalty User Endpoint URL. Refer to Figure: Loyalty User Endpoint URL.

6. Click Save.
Please note: Alternatively you can contact ShopSocially Customer Success Manager (CSM), and respective CSM can help you.

2. Global tokens and feature specific token insertion


Global tokens and feature specific token insertion is explained below.

1. Basic and Advanced integration tracking code token.
The token is as below:
<mvt:item name="shopsocially" param="init" /> 

Please follow steps given below:
1. Click Menu, and then click User Interface.
2. Click Settings tab, and then go to Global Header & Footer Section.
4. Insert the token like this '<mvt:item name="shopsocially" param="init" />', at the end of footer code.
3. Click Update.
2. Token for product FAQ.
The token is as below:

<mvt:item name="shopsocially" param="PRODQA|l.all_settings:product:id"/> 


Please follow steps given below:

1. Click Menu, and then click User Interface.

2. Search for screen code Prod.

3. Select Prod  , and then click Edit icon . Refer to Figure: User Interface 1.

4. In Edit Page: Product Display, in Details click Product Display Layout, and add token <mvt:item name="shopsocially" param="PRODQA|l.all_settings:product:id"/> , where you want to show FAQ section. Refer to Figure: Production Display Layout.

5. Click Update.
3. Social Login Token.
The token is as below:
<mvt:item name="shopsocially" param="SSLOGN"/>
Please follow steps given below:
1. Click Menu, and then click User Interface.
2. Search LOGN.
3. Select Logn 

 icon, then click Edit  icon. Refer to Figure: User Interface 2.

5. In Edit Page: Customer Log In, go to Details, and insert token <mvt:item name="shopsocially" param="SSLOGN"/> where you want to show social login button. Refer to Figure: Details.

6. Click Update.

Please note: You need to follow above steps to show Social Login on Order Login Page. Just need to search for ORDL screen, and then follow steps 5, and 6 from above.
4. Loyalty Dashboard: A page with name SSLP will be auto created, and you just need to verify, and update the look, and feel to match with your design.
