To activate ShopSocially Apps on your Woocommerce store, you will need to integrate ShopSocially tags with your Woocommerce store. 

 

Setup instructions for installing Woocommerce store for ShopSocially

 

It is recommended that:

1. You take complete backup of your Woocommerce store.

2. You install the plugin on your Test Server first. You should test the installation on your Test Server, and then install the plugin on your Production Server.


Steps to install Woocommerce store for ShopSocially are given in sections below. Please follow the steps in the same order, section wise.

1. Installing Woocommerce store for ShopSocially

To install ShopSocially plugin, please follow steps given below:
1. Log into your Woocommerce Store Admin Panel Woocommerce Store.
2. Navigate to Plugins, and click Add New. Refer to Figure: Add New Plugin.

3. Search for ShopSocially. Refer to Figure: Search ShopSocially App.

4. Click Install. Refer to Figure: Install ShopSocially App. The ShopSocially App will be installed.

5. In Plugins, click Installed Plugins, and search ShopSocially. Refer to Figure: Installed Plugins.

6. Select check box ShopSocially Referral and Loyalty, and click Activate. Refer to Figure: Activate ShopSocially App.

 2. Enabling ShopSocially Apps


To enable ShopSocially Apps, please follow the steps given below:
1. Click on ShopSocially tab on menu on the left side. Refer to Figure: ShopSocially Tab.

2. In SHOP SOCIALLY SETTINGS, provide ShopSocially Partner ID, and ShopSocially API Key, and select check box Enable ShopSocially. Refer to Figure: ShopSocially API Key.

Please note: Your ShopSocially Partner ID, and ShopSocially API Key can be found in your ShopSocially Admin Console, under Settings > Basic > General Information. Please refer to Figure: ShopSocially Partner ID.

3. Advanced Integration: For us to track sales and for running Post Purchase Apps, it is necessary to enable Advanced Integration. To do this, in SHOP SOCIALLY SETTINGS select check box Enable Advanced Integration. Refer to Figure: Advanced Integration.

4. Click Save Configuration

3. Enabling Social Login

To enable Social Login App, please follow the steps given below:
1. In SHOP SOCIALLY SETTINGS, select the check box Enable Social Login. Refer to Figure: Enable Social Login.

2. Insert the below code at the place where you want the social login buttons to appear:

Please note: Social Login is not setup on the checkout page by default. You will need to add the code mentioned above at the place where you want the Social Login buttons to appear.

3. Click Save Configuration .

4. Enabling Customer Q & A

To enable Customer Q & A App, please follow the steps given below:
1. In SHOP SOCIALLY SETTINGS, select the check box Enable Customer Q & A. Refer to Figure: Enable Customer Q & A.

2. Insert the below code at the place where you want the Customer Q and A app to appear:

5. Enabling Loyalty App

To enable Loyalty App, please follow the steps given below:
1. In SHOP SOCIALLY SETTINGS, select the check box Enable Loyalty. Refer to Figure: Enable Loyalty App.

2. Please use the below URLs as mentioned:
  • Loyalty Authentication URL: http://woocommerce.shopsocially.com/wp-login.php?loyalty-dashboard=true
This link hosts the authentication script for logging a Shopping cart user into ShopSocially's Loyalty Program.
You will need to paste the URL in ShopSocially Merchant Centre Console. To paste the URL follow steps given below:
1. In ShopSocially Merchant Centre Console, click Loyalty tab, and then click Dashboard Config.
2. In Authentication Options, in Authentication Type, select Token Based Authentication from drop down. 
Please note: To use the ShopSocially plugin, it is mandatory to select Token Based Authentication.
3. In Loyalty Authentication URL, paste the Loyalty Authentication URL. Refer to Figure: Loyalty Authentication URL.

  • Loyalty User Dashboard URL: http://woocommerce.shopsocially.com/loyalty-dashboard/ 
This link hosts the Loyalty User Dashboard URL where the user can view and redeem points.

You will need to paste the URL in ShopSocially Merchant Centre Console. To paste the URL follow steps given below:
1. In Loyalty Dashboard, paste the Loyalty User Dashboard URL. Refer to Figure: Loyalty User Dashboard URL.

  • Loyalty User Endpoint URL: http://woocommerce.shopsocially.com/get-loyalty-users/ 
ShopSocially will hit this endpoint to get loyalty user information. 

You will need to paste the URL in ShopSocially Merchant Centre Console. To paste the URL follow steps given below:
1. In Authentication Options, in User Endpoint, paste the Loyalty User Endpoint URL. Refer to Figure: Loyalty User Endpoint URL.

2. Click Save Configuration .
